In association with CODA

When Trinity Arts decided earlier this year to discontinue their
monthly Wednesday lunchtime recitals - part of the musical life
of Tunbridge Wells for more than 20 years - midday music was
set up on an experimental basis in an attempt to save the series.

The two promoters, Arthur Boyd, honorary secretary of CODA
and Robert Hardcastle, chairman of the Friends of the RTWSO,
firmly believe that opportunities must be given to rising musicians
to demonstrate their outstanding technical and musical abilities.

Only through public performance can they grow in confidence
and realize their full potential. midday music audiences, in turn,
have the opportunity of hearing musical celebrities of the future
at the outset of their careers, in performances as fresh and as
exciting as the musicians themselves.

Christ Church Centre is an ideal venue, and the 3rd Wednesday
of each month, at 1.05pm, a good time for such innovative and
imaginative music-making. By supporting midday music you'll be
helping to give a musical tradition in the town a new lease of life.

Please come along - and tell your friends!
